Pastors Dale & Dana Culbertson
Pastor Dale Culbertson was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1973; by 1977, he and other church members were baptized in the Holy Spirit and the decision was made to form Gethsemane, a non-denominational church. He has faithfully served as the senior pastor since then, though he is well-respected as a minister to ministers as well.
Pastor Dana was active in the Methodist Church, receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit also in 1977. Her greatest desire is to help believers find their God-given purpose and place in Christ’s Body.
Pastors Tobi & Miranda Hernandez
They served as Youth Pastors in Mexico until they returned to the states in 2007. They have been involved in ministry at Gethsemane since they have arrived and took over Pastors for Gethsemane en Espanol in 2010. In January 2017, they became the Youth Pastors of Oneighty.
Worship Leader – Kevin Barnett
Kevin Barnett was raised in church and surrounded by music his whole life. Purpose was birthed very early and it is evident today, having led worship for over 25 years. That passion can be seen on-stage and off. “I love seeing God’s people truly enter into His presence and it’s a privilege to be a part of that each week. When our expectation meets His visitation, good things are in store!” Kevin is a songwriter, with some of his music being used in churches throughout the United States.
Pastor Mark Gerner
Pastor Mark has been on staff at Gethsemane since 1984; he and wife Nancy invested in the lives of youth for over 30 years, serving as Gethsemane’s Youth Pastors from the mid-1990s through 2016. He now serves as Gethsemane’s Administrative Pastor.
A University of Evansville graduate, Pastor Mark introduced the Tri-State to Contemporary Christian Music via a radio show in the late ’70s; he also promoted Christian concerts for many years. He is a playwright and director, and has taught theatre classes for many years as well.
